NCIOP is an organization created to serve Industrial & Organizational Psychologists in the state of North Carolina with the goal of providing professional development opportunities for current and aspiring academics and practitioners in this field.
What is I/O?
Industrial-organizational (I/O) psychology is the scientific study of the workplace. Rigor and methods of psychology are applied to issues of critical relevance to business, including talent management, coaching, assessment, selection, training, organizational development, performance, and work-life balance. Membership
Our membership is open to the North Carolina I/O community including academicians, practitioners, graduate students, and other interested individuals. No annual dues are collected for membership; instead we collect dues upon attendance at our semi-annual conferences (typically $40 for professionals and $15 for students).
